01
Protection from violence and prevention
imfff e.V. grew out of engagement against violence towards women. Prevention, awareness-raising and low-threshold counselling are at our core. We support those affected and their networks with respect and cultural sensitivity – and we work with specialist services, schools and authorities so that protection and support arrive in time.
02
Strengthening families
Families need orientation, exchange and reliable programmes. Through parent education, MotherSchool and family formats we create spaces where parenting questions, everyday life and future prospects can be discussed – multilingual, approachable and without stigma.
03
Education and participation
Education is a key to self-determination. We foster language skills, learning spaces and equal opportunities – for women, children and young people. This is not only about courses, but about real participation: making informed decisions, helping shape society and finding one’s own path.
04
Empowering girls
Girls need protected spaces where they can ask questions, set boundaries and develop dreams for the future. Our programmes focus on empowerment, peer exchange and preventive education – so that young women grow up confidently and safely.
05
Fathers and sons
Social change also needs men. With programmes for fathers and sons we talk about responsibility, parenting, respect and prevention. We invite dialogue – not blame – and strengthen role models for a society built on solidarity.
06
Intercultural dialogue
For us, diversity is strength. We create spaces for encounter where people of different origins, religions and worldviews can talk with one another. Dialogue reduces prejudice and makes cohesion tangible in the neighbourhood and the city.
07
Awareness and specialist cooperation
Many challenges can only be solved together. That is why we work closely with schools, authorities and specialist services, share practice experience and raise awareness for culturally sensitive, low-threshold support – so that the concerns of women and families become visible and actionable.
08
Community and engagement
imfff e.V. thrives on people who get involved. Volunteers, members and supporters help carry encounter, counselling and education. Engagement creates belonging – and makes our vision of a fairer, more solidary society concrete.
These themes move us every day. If you want to get involved, donate or simply learn more: we look forward to hearing from you.

Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the most important questions about imfff.
Because not everyone has the same access to education, counselling and support. We want to remove barriers, counter disadvantage and open up new opportunities. People and their individual life stories are at the centre of what we do.
